It’s 10 a.m. and we’re all meeting at Frankfurt Airport. In Terminal 1, under the departure board. You can recognize us by the giant pink flag with the words Global Youth Ambassador Academy. There are 17 of us, all of whom are seeing each other in person for the first time today. It won’t be long before we’re all on the plane to Japan. We have a 14-hour flight ahead of us before we land in another world.
