Today was our first day in this academy in Berlin, Germany. The Japanese people came to the middle of Berlin at 9:45 A.M. in the morning. The German people had the opportunity to come at 4 P.M. because an early start of the academy would involve travel challenges. German people also had the chance to come at 9:45 A.M., since the Japanese people were already there at this time. In the morning, we were three German ambassadors exclusively with the supervisors who were there at 9:45 A.M. for the first program. After arrival, we went to a boat dock for travelling across the river “Spree” in Berlin. The Japanese people had gotten a digital tour guide, because during the boat trip there were some announcements in German to tell us what we could see along the way. We went in the boat nearby “Moabiter Werder” heading east. We passed some museums like the Bode Museum and the Futurium. After our boat trip, which had a duration of around one hour, we had lunch together and enjoyed the meal.
